Biography

Roel Bol studied International Law in Utrecht. Following a short period in France he joined the Medical Insurance Board in Amstelveen.

He subsequently worked for the then Ministry for Public Health and Environmental Protection.

In 1981 he was offered a position at the International Economic Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (now the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality), where he occupied various management positions (Director Minister Office, Director Fisheries, Director Trade and Industry). His current position is that of Director Programme Bio-based .
