Biography

Paul Vriesekoop has graduated as animal scientist at the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He started his career as teacher at agricultural schools and than moved the private sector. He has had several management functions in Pig Breeding companies. In 2005 he became director of Wageningen UR Livestock Research, a contract research organisation within Wageningen UR. He is member of several advisory committees in the livestock sector and is president of the Animal Task Force (cooperation of European Technology Platforms and knowledge institutions in Europe).
